The data sheets are issued by the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Druckbehälter (German Pressure Vessel Association), a consortium comprising the DGUV, VDEh, VCI, VDMA, VAIS, and VGB energy associations, together with the publishing TÜV association.

The Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (formerly 97/23/EC) is an EU regulation that sets out the essential safety requirements for pressure equipment placed on the EU market.
